How a record gets in
Every organisation is matched against a public register where one exists: SEC EDGAR, Companies House, the LEI register, Wikidata. Funding rounds come from filings and press releases, headcounts from annual reports. Records that pass are marked verified and released in the open dataset; those that do not are held for a person to check. Each applied change is listed, with its source, on the updates page. Placements
We accept paid placements and sponsored listings. They are labelled as such, and they never change a record's data or its position in search results and rankings on this site. Enquire through the contact page.
