Founded in 2017 and headquartered at IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, Agnikul is developing the Agnibaan orbital small-sat launcher targeting up to 300 kg to low Earth orbit. The company's additive manufacturing approach reduces part count from thousands to a handful, enabling faster production cycles and lower cost. Agnikul operates its own mobile launch pad (Dhanush) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre and aims to offer highly customizable launch windows for small satellite customers.
