Alén Space's core expertise lies in communication satellites at the 1U-12U cubesat form factor, particularly UHF/VHF and S-band satellite communication platforms for IoT telemetry, environmental monitoring data relay, ship tracking (AIS), aircraft tracking (ADS-B), and amateur radio communication missions. The company designs both complete satellite systems and individual subsystems including on-board computers (OBC), ultra-high frequency (UHF) transceivers, S-band transceivers, and solar panels — all qualified for space environments through rigorous testing programs aligned with ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization) standards.
