About AQMAAR
AQMAAR is described by Egypt's Space Agency (EgSA) as Egypt's first private-sector satellite manufacturer, developing modular satellite components and complete satellite systems under CEO Ahmed Nassar. In March 2025 the company signed a strategic cooperation protocol with EgSA giving it access to EgSA's Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Testing (MAIT) infrastructure for satellites up to 600 kg, part of a push to build domestic satellite-manufacturing capability in Egypt.
AQMAAR's near-term roadmap centers on "swarm-oriented" satellite missions, starting with a 3U CubeSat demonstration mission planned for the fourth quarter of 2025 intended to validate its modular design approach ahead of future CubeSat platforms.
