Founded in 2019 and based in Hawthorne, California, Astrolab is a space robotics company focused on developing lunar rovers for cargo and crew transportation. The company’s primary product is the FLEX (Flexible Logistics and Exploration) rover, a modular vehicle designed to be the largest and most capable rover ever operated on the lunar surface. FLEX is intended to support both uncrewed cargo delivery and crewed exploration activities, positioning Astrolab as a key enabler for establishing a sustained human presence on the Moon.

Astrolab is a partner in NASA’s Artemis program and has been awarded a contract to advance development of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) system, with FLEX serving as the basis for this vehicle.
