Its concept uses a high-altitude balloon to carry a rocket to around 35 kilometers before ignition, reducing atmospheric drag and launch energy, with a planned capability of delivering up to about 200 kilograms to low Earth orbit. In November 2025, B2Space completed an integrated rockoon launch test from the Canary Islands.
