Bizu Space is a Brazilian launch-technology startup developing rocket propulsion for space access using domestically built technology. It is a strategic subcontractor in the Brazilian Microlauncher Project (MLBR) under FINEP's VLPP program, where it is developing a liquid rocket engine for the launch vehicle's third stage using hydrogen peroxide and kerosene propellants to improve orbital accuracy and payload capacity. The MLBR is being designed with a one-meter diameter, twelve-meter height and capacity of up to 30 kg to low Earth orbit. In December 2023, Bizu Space secured two contracts to support MLBR development.
