China Rocket Co., Ltd. (also known as China Long March Rocket Co.) is a commercial launch services subsidiary of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT), itself part of the state-owned China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). The company markets and operates the solid-fueled Smart Dragon (Jielong) family of small launch vehicles, including Smart Dragon-1 and the larger Smart Dragon-3, the latter having completed 11 flights as of 2026. China Rocket positions the Smart Dragon line as a lower-cost, faster-turnaround option for Chinese commercial smallsat and rideshare customers alongside CASC's government-oriented Long March vehicles.
