Constellation Space

Constellation Space is building an AI operating system for managing and securing large satellite networks. Its platform ingests telemetry from satellites, ground stations and weather systems to predict communication link failures, and reroutes traffic automatically when a degradation is forecast — the company reports better than 90 percent prediction accuracy, roughly five minutes of warning, and rerouting in under two seconds without human intervention.

The company was founded in 2025 in Seattle by Kamran Majid, Laith Altarabishi, Raaid Kabir and Omeed Tehrani, whose backgrounds include SpaceX, Blue Origin and NASA. It went through Y Combinator.

The problem it targets scales with constellation size: roughly 10,000 active satellites are in orbit today against projections approaching 70,000 by 2030, and the company cites industry losses of about $2.5 billion a year from network failures. Manual operations teams do not scale to that fleet count, which is the argument for autonomous network management.
