Quick Facts
About Creotech Instruments
Creotech Instruments, headquartered in Piaseczno near Warsaw, Poland, founded in 2012 and publicly listed on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, is Poland's leading satellite manufacturer and space electronics company — building complete microsatellite platforms and key subsystems including onboard computers (OBCs), power distribution units (PDUs), and embedded electronics for European and international space missions.
Creotech's flagship satellite platform is the HyperSat — a modular microsatellite bus ranging from 20 kg to 100+ kg that can be configured for Earth observation, communications, and technology demonstration missions. The HyperSat bus uses commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electronics subjected to rigorous radiation testing and screening — a cost-efficient alternative to fully space-heritage components that allows Creotech to offer competitive pricing while maintaining reliability standards appropriate for operational satellite missions. Creotech's own EagleEye Earth observation satellite — planned for a 0.5-meter very high resolution electro-optical payload — is being developed using the HyperSat bus and represents Poland's first domestic commercial EO satellite program.
Creotech's electronics product line includes the Flatsat (HyperSat testbed), space-grade FPGAs programmed for signal processing applications, and onboard computer modules that form the avionics core of both Creotech-built satellites and customer spacecraft. The company has supplied electronics for ESA science missions and participates in ESA's Polish industrial return programs enabled by Poland's 2012 ESA membership.
Creotech is a central company in Poland's emerging space industry cluster, working alongside fellow Polish space companies GMV Polska, SENER Polska, Astronika, and CloudFerro — all participating in ESA's industrial return mechanism and serving as sub-contractors to European prime contractors. Poland's space sector has grown substantially since 2012, with Creotech's stock market listing (2021) and satellite manufacturing program positioning Poland as one of Central Europe's leading new space nations.
