Fergani Space is a Turkish private space company founded in 2022, associated with the Baykar technology group. It develops commercial satellites, advanced satellite components, and orbital transfer vehicles powered by indigenous propulsion systems. Fergani launched FGN-100-D1 in January 2025, described as the largest satellite built by a private Turkish company to that point, followed by FGN-100-D2 in November 2025, both developed entirely with Turkish national resources. The company employs around 135 engineers and is pursuing the Ulug Bey project, a planned low Earth orbit constellation intended to provide Turkey with a sovereign global positioning and navigation capability.
