GalaxySpace (银河航天, Yínhé Hángtiān) is a Chinese commercial satellite communications company founded in 2016 and headquartered in Beijing, developing a large LEO broadband satellite constellation to provide high-speed internet connectivity across China and globally — positioning itself as China's primary commercial answer to SpaceX's Starlink in the rapidly evolving low-orbit satellite internet market.

The company has launched multiple test and operational satellites using proprietary flexible payload technology that allows software-defined reconfiguration of satellite capacity allocation and beam pointing without on-orbit hardware changes — enabling dynamic optimization of satellite resources in response to shifting demand patterns across the constellation's coverage area. GalaxySpace demonstrated its first commercial communication satellite in orbit in 2020 and has progressively scaled constellation deployment with satellites designed for mass production economies.

GalaxySpace is building a dedicated satellite manufacturing facility in Beijing targeting high-volume production — the production factory model required to deploy the hundreds to thousands of satellites needed for a competitive global LEO broadband constellation. The company has raised significant venture funding from investors including Sequoia Capital China and Source Code Capital, alongside Chinese technology sector and state-aligned aerospace investors, achieving multi-billion-yuan valuation.

The company's constellation targets Chinese consumers, enterprise customers, and aviation and maritime markets requiring high-speed connectivity beyond terrestrial network coverage. GalaxySpace competes with China Satellite Network Group (operating the national Guowang/StarNet constellation under government direction) for domestic market primacy, while internationally positioning against Starlink and OneWeb for maritime and enterprise broadband.
