Its core product, KNOWN, is a time-sequenced distributed ledger with a patented Byzantine fault tolerant consensus protocol intended to support decentralised general-purpose computing on large data volumes.
For the space market the company has developed KNETIC for Space, a platform for compute and storage in low Earth orbit, together with an alternative positioning, navigation and timing offering. The PNT work addresses demand for position and high-precision timing sources that do not depend on GNSS signals, which are increasingly subject to jamming and spoofing.
The company was founded in 2018 by Connie Erlanger, and descends from a merger of Marketcore.com and RubixIO, which worked in logistics analytics and decentralised computing respectively. GoKnown joined the University of Central Florida's NSF I-Corps aerospace and aviation cohort and was a Startup Space 2026 finalist.
