About HEX20

HEX20 is an Australian small-satellite platform manufacturer headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia, founded in 2020 by Sundar Sundaramoorthy, a former spacecraft systems engineer. The company designs modular CubeSat and smallsat buses and subsystems — including the NEXUS platform, a 6U–16U bus intended for commercial and government Earth-observation and communications missions — targeting the ANZAC and broader Asia-Pacific market.

HEX20 has announced contracts with the Australian Space Agency, the Western Australian government, and private commercial customers. The company has secured funding from the South Australian government's space-innovation programs and from private investors, and is building out domestic Australian AIT (assembly, integration, test) capability — a strategic priority as Australia develops sovereign space infrastructure.

HEX20 is part of a growing Australian New Space ecosystem including Gilmour Space, Space Machines Company, Skykraft, Inovor Technologies, and Fleet Space Technologies, supported by the Australian Space Agency and the Moon to Mars initiative.
