Infostellar is a Japanese space technology company founded in 2016 and headquartered in Tokyo, operating StellarStation — a cloud-based ground station network sharing platform that enables satellite operators to access ground antenna capacity on demand across a global network of partner stations. The platform addresses the fundamental constraint that most satellite missions purchase dedicated ground station infrastructure that sits idle 95%+ of the time, while simultaneously, many existing antenna owners have unused capacity generating no revenue.

StellarStation functions as a marketplace and scheduling engine: satellite operators register their satellite ephemerides and communication parameters (frequency bands, modulation schemes, link budgets), while ground station providers offer antenna time slots and capabilities. The platform's scheduling API automatically matches contact passes, manages frequency coordination, and streams telemetry to the operator's cloud endpoint — reducing time-to-first-contact for a new satellite from months of ground station procurement to days of API integration. The system supports UHF, VHF, S-band, X-band, and Ka-band ground station capabilities.

Infostellar's network spans stations in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, and polar regions, providing near-global coverage for LEO satellite operators needing frequent contact windows. The company's API-first approach appeals to New Space constellation operators — small satellite manufacturers and IoT constellation companies — who need flexible, scalable ground access without capital-intensive dedicated infrastructure. Infostellar raised funding from JAFCO, Sony Innovation Fund, and other investors, and partnered with JAXA as well as international satellite operators seeking Asia-Pacific ground station coverage.
