KBR (NYSE: KBR) is a Houston-based global engineering and technology services company with approximately $7B in annual revenues and a major presence in NASA human spaceflight operations spanning five decades of continuous support. KBR's space business — operating from facilities adjacent to NASA Johnson Space Center in Clear Lake — provides the engineering workforce behind ISS mission operations: flight controllers, trajectory analysts, systems engineers, EVA planners, and crew training specialists who work alongside NASA civil servants in the Mission Control Center.

KBR holds the HEOMD (Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate) engineering services contract, one of NASA's largest single-award contracts, covering ISS real-time operations support, astronaut training curriculum development, flight procedures writing, and mission planning for over 40 years of human spaceflight programs including Space Shuttle, ISS assembly, and now Artemis Gateway planning. The company also provides NASA Artemis support including commercial Lunar Lander program technical assistance, Gateway habitat module systems engineering, and deep space EVA procedure development for the Artemis lunar surface missions.
