The Kenya Space Agency (KSA) is a Kenyan State Corporation under the Ministry of Defence established through Legal Notice No. 22 of 7 March 2017. The agency is mandated to promote, coordinate and regulate space-related activities in the country. KSA has launched three satellites: 1KUNS-PF, IKUNS-3, and Taifa1. Kenya has a rich space history dating back to 1964 when Kenya and Italy collaborated to establish the Broglio Space Center in Malindi. The agency works to forge global partnerships to boost national space capabilities.
