About LegendSpace

Updated 2026-06-30

LegendSpace, registered as Linjie Hangtian (Beijing) Intelligent Technology, develops liquid rocket engines with an AI-centred design process. Its Prime research platform combines simulation with metal additive manufacturing, the aim being to compress the design–test–iterate cycle that normally dominates engine development schedules.

The company raised a 200 million yuan angel round, roughly $29.5 million, announced in July 2026, with VitalBridge, Yuanma Lüdong, Shangshi Capital, Crystal Stream Capital and Oriental Fortune Capital participating and Gaohu Capital advising. Proceeds fund qualification, ground testing and hot-fire verification of several engines across thrust classes, upgrades to the Prime platform, and a supply chain and production test system.

The round reflects wider momentum in Chinese commercial space, where reusable rockets are reaching the pad, launch and satellite firms are moving toward IPOs, and the sector has explicit backing in the country's 15th Five Year Plan approved in March 2026.
