LeoStella, founded in 2018 and located in Tukwila, Washington, is a satellite manufacturing facility operating as a joint venture between Thales Alenia Space and Spaceflight Industries. The company focuses on the production of small satellites, specifically supporting the BlackSky constellation. BlackSky’s core offering, the Spectra platform, provides on-demand, time-diverse imagery and automated data analysis for defense, intelligence, and global security organizations. The company recently launched its Gen-3 satellite constellation, promising superior resolution, revisit rates, and analytical capabilities.
