Lonestar Space (Lonestar Data Holdings) is a US company developing space-based data storage and computing infrastructure, positioning resilient backups beyond Earth for disaster recovery and data sovereignty. Headquartered in Florida, it markets StarVault satellites placed in Earth and lunar orbits, plus longer-term plans for lunar-surface data centers shielded by regolith. In February 2025 the company operated data-storage hardware aboard an Intuitive Machines lunar lander, transmitting the first commercial document to and from the Moon. It targets enterprise and government customers, with its first commercial StarVault slated for launch in 2027.
