The Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) was founded on September 12, 2018, to implement the national space strategy. Unlike many similar organizations abroad, LSA does not directly conduct research or launch missions but fosters collaboration between key players in the space industry to accelerate innovation-driven businesses. The agency is modeled after a private firm with the primary goal to diversify Luxembourg's economy through space activities. LSA was a founding member of the Artemis Accords and focuses on In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU).
