Its focus is the maritime domain, where satellite observation of sea surface conditions can be turned directly into operational guidance for vessels at sea.

The company's service, Triton's Spear, covers fisheries resource assessment, monitoring of suspicious vessels including illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, emergency position reporting, labour management from location data, and disaster alerting. It uses Japan's Quasi-Zenith Satellite System, Michibiki, whose messaging capability allows short reports to reach vessels beyond terrestrial network coverage.

The company is listed in JAXA's Japanese space industry catalogue as an example of applying Earth observation to the fishing industry and wider maritime operations.
