RBC Signals, headquartered in Seattle, Washington and founded in 2018, is a global ground station network-as-a-service (GNaaS) provider that aggregates antenna capacity from dozens of partner ground stations worldwide and delivers unified, API-accessible satellite contact scheduling, data downlink, telemetry and command (TT&C) uplink, and data delivery services to satellite operators — competing directly with AWS Ground Station, Microsoft Azure Orbital, and KSAT DownLink in the emerging commercial ground station marketplace.

RBC Signals' model is fundamentally an aggregator: rather than building its own antenna network from scratch, the company partners with existing ground station operators (teleports, university antenna facilities, national space agency ground stations, and commercial ground station networks in strategically located geographies) to broker unused antenna time and resell it through a unified scheduling and billing platform.

This asset-light approach allows RBC to offer global coverage — including high-latitude Arctic stations in Alaska, Canada, Svalbard, and Antarctica for polar-orbit LEO satellite contact — without the capital expenditure of building and maintaining physical antenna infrastructure at each location.

For satellite operators — particularly small satellite and cubesat operators who cannot justify owning and operating their own ground stations — RBC Signals provides per-pass pricing (paying only for contact time used), global geographic diversity without managing relationships with dozens of individual ground station providers, and a software API for automated contact scheduling integrated into satellite operations software. Critical mission phases including launch and early orbit operations (LEOP) and anomaly response require rapid, global contact access that the RBC network can provide on short notice.

RBC Signals serves commercial Earth observation operators, technology demonstration satellites, university cubesat programs, and commercial IoT satellite operators. Competitors include AWS Ground Station (Amazon's globally distributed antenna network), Microsoft Azure Orbital Ground Station, Leaf Space (European network), and KSAT's global network.
