Rocket Lab National Security is a division of Rocket Lab, an end-to-end space company providing launch services, spacecraft development and manufacturing, and satellite components. Founded in 2021 and based in Long Beach, California, the division focuses on serving defense-related applications within the broader company portfolio. Rocket Lab offers dedicated and rideshare launch options via its Electron rocket – currently the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket – alongside development of the larger Neutron launch vehicle, designed for 13-tonne payloads.
