Saab Space

Saab Space is the space division of Saab AB (Stockholm: SAAB-B), the Swedish defense and aerospace conglomerate, providing satellite communications electronics, on-board data handling systems, ground systems, and mission operations support for European military, institutional, and scientific satellite programs. Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Saab Space has decades of heritage developing transponders and payload electronics for ESA missions — including transponders for the Olympus communications satellite, Marecs maritime communications satellite, and various science satellite payloads.
