Saber Astronautics is an Australian space operations company founded in 2008 with offices in Sydney, Australia and Denver, Colorado, developing mission control software and operating commercial space operations centers for satellite operators, government agencies, and defense customers. Saber is a rare commercial entity that combines software product development with actual mission operations services — blending a SaaS product business with a managed services model.

Saber's flagship software product is SABER Space Operations (previously Pocket Spacecraft and SBOA), a cloud-based mission control system that covers satellite health monitoring, telecommand uplink, orbit determination, pass scheduling across ground station networks, and anomaly response workflows. The platform is designed for the modern mixed-operator environment where a small operations team manages multiple satellites from different manufacturers across multiple ground station contracts — the reality for most commercial smallsat operators and emerging national space programs that cannot afford dedicated single-satellite ground infrastructure.

Beyond software, Saber operates the Denver Space Operations Center (DSOC) — a physical mission control facility where Saber's team provides 24/7 operations support to commercial and government satellite customers who want outsourced mission control rather than building in-house capability.
