SatLeo Labs is an Indian space-technology startup building a constellation of microsatellites for continuous global thermal monitoring of Earth. Its satellites carry mid-wave and long-wave infrared and visible imaging sensors capable of measuring surface temperature variations to roughly one Kelvin accuracy. The company plans a constellation of around 12 microsatellites delivering thermal imagery at about five-meter resolution with twice-daily global coverage, with onboard space edge computing to reduce latency. Target applications include agriculture, climate modeling, weather forecasting, renewable energy and disaster management. Led by a team including former ISRO scientists, SatLeo raised total seed funding of around $5.5 million.
