Sedaro is an American space software company founded in 2016 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, providing a cloud-based digital twin and multi-physics mission simulation platform that enables satellite operators, defense programs, and spacecraft manufacturers to model, simulate, and analyze complete satellite missions — from hardware performance through orbital mechanics, RF link budgets, thermal behavior, power systems, and autonomous operations — in an integrated computational environment.

Traditional mission simulation relies on disconnected domain-specific tools (STK or GMAT for orbit mechanics, separate finite element thermal tools, RF link spreadsheets, power budget models) requiring manual data exchange between tools and rarely providing integrated system-level insight.

Sedaro's distributed multi-physics simulation engine connects these domains in a single cloud platform, enabling spacecraft designers to simultaneously evaluate orbital dynamics, thermal loads, power generation and storage, communications link performance, and onboard software behavior — at approximately 10x lower total infrastructure cost than legacy simulation environments like AGI's STK or Matlab/Simulink implementations used by prime contractors.

Sedaro supports significant US government space programs including GPS constellation sustainment analysis and the Space Development Agency's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) — a planned constellation of hundreds of LEO satellites for missile warning, tracking, and resilient tactical communications. The company was awarded a $20 million US Air Force contract to demonstrate autonomous satellite operations capability using the Sedaro simulation platform as the mission rehearsal and autonomous decision algorithm validation environment.

The platform enables spacecraft operators to develop, test, and validate autonomous operations algorithms against high-fidelity digital twins before deploying them to live satellite operations, reducing the risk of on-orbit anomalies from software errors.
