Sequoia Space

Sequoia Space is a Madrid-based Spanish NewSpace company founded in 2021 developing an IoT satellite constellation for global asset tracking and monitoring, targeting industrial supply chain operators, cold chain logistics, maritime shipping, and environmental sensor networks that need low-cost global connectivity in areas beyond cellular and WiFi coverage. The company is building a constellation of small satellites in LEO operating in the UHF and S-band spectrum to collect data packets from low-power ground devices — shipping containers, refrigerated trucks, cattle, remote weather stations, oil pipeline sensors, and wildfire detection nodes — delivering data at frequencies optimized for low-power IoT sensors with battery lives of years rather than the continuous connectivity of cellular IoT.
