Currently, the company’s core offering is India’s first in-orbit third-party liability insurance for satellites. As a component of the larger TATA AIG General Insurance Company, TATA AIG Space leverages the parent company’s extensive experience in risk management and insurance, alongside the financial strength of the Tata Group and American International Group (AIG). TATA AIG General Insurance recorded a Gross Written Premium of 13,606 Crores as of March 31, 2024, and boasts a significant infrastructure including a large agent network, extensive hospital and workshop tie-ups, and a dedicated claims team.
