Bazoomq Space Research Lab
Bazoomq Space Research Laboratory Foundation is an Armenian space research and satellite-development organization based in Yerevan, founded in late 2020 by Avetik Grigoryan along with graduates of his earlier AYAS Aerospace Society aerospace-education programme (which Grigoryan started in 1988). Bazoomq built and operates HayaSat-1, described as the first domestically built Armenian satellite, and has followed it with HayaSat-2, an Earth-observation CubeSat carrying an onboard Nvidia Jetson GPU for AI-assisted image processing. The lab's broader portfolio includes a high-altitude-platform stratospheric research mission, space-debris and de-orbiting research, and an autonomous open-water research platform, alongside space-education and startup-incubation activities positioned as building Armenia's domestic space sector largely from scratch.
