Bio

Rohail T. is a physicist who writes about the science behind the space industry. His work focuses on how physics, computing and emerging technology are changing what we can do beyond Earth, and on the research papers, mission results and laboratory work that the industry's claims rest on.

He reads the primary literature so the story can start there: the arXiv preprint, the mission science paper, the conference proceeding. His pieces explain what a result means, what it does not mean, and why it matters to the companies and agencies in the directory, in language a busy reader outside the field can follow.

He also writes for Quantum Zeitgeist on quantum science and technology. At New Space Tracker he covers space science, astronomy and telescope missions, university and research-institute programmes, and the technical ideas most likely to shape the next decade of spaceflight.
